Rotary Welcomes New Member Collin Alexander, a Leader in Stewardship and Service

The Rotary Club is pleased to welcome Collin Alexander, an experienced finance and operations executive with more than 25 years of leadership in higher education and the nonprofit sector.

Collin currently serves as interim vice president of finance and administration at Shepherd University, where he supports long-term planning and contributes to sound fiscal stewardship and institutional decision-making.

His professional background includes financial planning and analysis, budgeting, audit oversight, operational strategy, and organizational leadership. He is especially committed to strengthening financial transparency, improving operational efficiency, and building data-driven processes that help organizations grow sustainably.

Before entering higher education, Collin spent more than a decade in nonprofit financial leadership, managing large-scale budgets, supporting investment and operational strategies, and leading initiatives focused on cost reduction and organizational effectiveness. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and boards, with a strong ability to align financial strategy with organizational mission.

Collin is being mentored in Rotary by fellow Rotarian Austin Slater. Please join us in welcoming Collin as he begins his Rotary journey.
