The main objective of the Rotary- supported project is to enable the participation of several SU student members of the MLM Chapter at SU in Service Learning Trips. Our MedLife Shepherd students will be traveling to Ecuador during the summer of 2025.
This year’s Rotary Canal Ride is themed: Miles for MEDLIFE, Health, Hope, and Humanity. Proceeds will be used to help cover the cost of student travel.
MEDLIFE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that partners with low-income communities in Latin America and Africa to improve their access to healthcare, education, and safe housing. In order to achieve the ultimate goal of a world free from the constraints of poverty, we empower students and volunteers to become advocates for change through traveling on Service Learning Trips and participating in on-campus Chapters.
