Rotary Club of Shepherdstown Welcomes New Member Dr. Best

The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown is pleased to announce the induction of new member Dr. Ronnie Best, who officially joined the club on October 13, 2026 by Sponsor and Rotary President Jennifer Wabnitz.

Dr. Ronald Best is a board-certified emergency physician and founder of Clarity Health, a concierge health span medicine practice serving the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and surrounding areas. Originally from Frederick, MD, he completed his medical training entirely in the Mountain State — earning his Doctor of Osteopathy from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 and completing both his internship and emergency medicine residency at West Virginia University Hospitals in 2007. He and his wife, Errika, have called the Eastern Panhandle home ever since. Dr. Best currently serves as an attending emergency physician/professor at WVU and has been Medical Director of the Martinsburg City Emergency Medical Service since 2013. He has also held leadership roles in clinical informatics, AI consulting and serves as a CMS Case Reviewer. In 2022, Dr. Best founded Clarity Health to address a fundamental gap in American healthcare: the absence of proactive, relationship-driven medicine focused on how long patients thrive, not just how long they live. Clarity Health offers direct physician access, advanced diagnostics, hormonal optimization, and personalized protocols built around nutrition, fitness, sleep, and longevity. Dr. Best lives in Shepherdstown and is committed to investing in the health and vitality of the Eastern Panhandle community — one patient at a time, and through organizations like Rotary.

Rotary International is a global network of more than 1.4 million neighbors, friends, and leaders who volunteer their skills and resources to solve problems and address community needs. The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown plays an active role locally by supporting youth programs, scholarships, community service initiatives, and nonprofit partnerships. Through hands-on service and collaborative leadership, the club works to strengthen the Shepherdstown community and create lasting positive change.
