The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown has inducted Joanna Bohn as a new member.
The induction ceremony was held at the Club’s May 21 evening meeting at the Bavarian Inn. The accompanying photo shows Bohn, center, with Club President Cara Keys, left, and Club Membership Chair Dana Orsini, right.
A new resident of Shepherdstown, Bohn is self-employed as an educational consultant, advocate, and instructor at her company, Fund for Equal Access to Education. Previously, she was a public school teacher. Prior to that, she worked as a domestic violence counselor and substance abuse interventionist.
She has written over twenty reports as an expert witness in various due process hearings and cases involving 14th amendment complaints and access to education. She has also been recognized by the Sixth Circuit Court in over 30 such cases.
