Women of Distinction

Bernice Collis is a native of Berkeley County. She and her husband own Minghini’s General Contractors, Inc. Prior to joining Minghini’s, Bernice taught at Hedgesville Middle School for 11 years. After joining Minghini’s, she was elected to the Berkeley County Board of Education for two terms. Bernice is a life-long Girl Scout. She has over 60 years in the organization as a Girl Scout, Troop Leader, Board Chair/Member and Volunteer. She views her work for the Girl Scouts as an Investment. She has chaired the Women of Distinction program in the Eastern Panhandle for 22 years, raising over 1 million dollars while celebrating the most amazing women in our communities! Bernice resides in Berkeley County with her husband Craig.
