At its regular meeting on August 11, The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown was delighted to welcome back Cenia McFarland, our outbound Rotary Youth Exchange student, as she shared highlights from her remarkable year in Oslo, Norway.
Cenia reflected on the culture she experienced, the friendships she formed, and the lasting connections made possible through Rotary. She also spoke about her time with the Holmenkollen Rotary Club, her host club during the exchange, and presented our club with its banner—a meaningful symbol of Rotary fellowship and friendship across the world.
We are incredibly proud of Cenia for representing Shepherdstown so well and grateful for the opportunity to hear how Rotary Youth Exchange shaped her year abroad.
