With cupcakes spelling “S-E-A-N,” the evening satellite group of the Rotary Club of Shepherdstown welcomed District Governor Sean Murtagh to their September 2 club assembly meeting for his update on the district and overview of the upcoming year’s goals.
The cupcakes were in response to Sean’s travels to various clubs in the vast district, notably a club in Pennsylvania spelled out his name using subway sandwiches! Not to be outdone, this Shepherdstown evening club delighted Sean and members with a sweet treat to match the sandwich spelling. Sean gave out pins with the 2026-2027 motto “Create Lasting Impact,” a reminder that we are all working towards the same goal of impacting the world around us in the most meaningful way, together.
