Eureka, El Salvador Project Hits Water, Team to Visit Project

The Global Grant (#2120132), sponsored by the Rotary Club of Shepherdstown with substantial funding from District 7360, has found water at 100 meters. The project is proceeding and is on track to be completed at the end of February. This project will provide consistent, potable water to 352 families. A number that will probably increase in future years with this water access.

This has been a multiyear project, slowed by COVID, but coming to fruition. To celebrate this project we have organized a small delegation to go to El Salvador from March 18th to the 26th. Attached is an itinerary and a powerpoint to describe the trip.

We will meet with our partner club – The Rotary Club of Santa Tecla, see some of the historical sites and beauty of the country. We will also look at potential projects for further collaboration with the Rotary Clubs of El Salvador.
