As it has done for many years, the Shepherdstown Rotary Club fielded a large crew of volunteers on September 10 to help with the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle’s Annual Day of Caring.
The club’s volunteers worked to clean up the James Rumsey Bridge across the Potomac River at Shepherdstown and the roadway just after the bridge on the West Virginia side. This is a major gateway to the town and the state.
