Jeffrey Kay recently spoke to our morning meeting Tuesday April 23rd with an emphasis on digitizing varying physical family memories. Inspired by a series of tragic losses in his own life, in 2017 Jeffrey Kay left the telecommunications technology industry and founded My Digital Memories – to digitize and restore photos, video, audio, and other memorabilia. After 6 successful years with My Digital Memories Jeff realized that simply helping families to preserve and protect their memories was not enough, and in 2023 Family Memory Consultants was born. Jeff combined his knowledge as a digital archivist with his experience as a wellness coach, technology specialist, and project manager, with his passion for family memory preservation into a unique consulting company where Jeff and his team provides concierge preservation services, family and corporate archival services, customized reminiscence therapy for individuals and families.
Jeff holds degrees in Business Administration and Economics from University of Hartford, as well as a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins in Telecommunications and Information Technology Management. Jeff also holds a Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. Jeff lives in Charles Town, West Virginia with his wife Tracy and their dogs Malachi and Dash.
