Our speaker was born and bred in West Virginia’s Kanawha County; mother from Martinsburg; grandfather from Zoar on Flowing Springs Rd. Graduate of WVU. Worked for the USDA for 18 years. Now living in Harpers Ferry. Devoted my life’s passion to restoring the pawpaw — native fruit — to a notable place in American cuisine. (And around the world for that matter.) Now I hope to help restore the Tobacco Warehouse to its rightful place in Shepherdstown.
