New Shepherdstown Elementary School

Ms. White earned her bachelor’s degree from Marshall University and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from WVU. She holds an advanced certificate from Salem University in district leadership. She began her career in Jefferson County Schools in 1990 as a substitute teacher and was a teacher in Jefferson County Schools until 2003. Ms. White moved to Morgan County Schools in 2003 where she was an assistant principal for three years and then a principal for four years before moving to Director of Transportation, Safety and Maintenance. In 2017, she moved back to Jefferson County Schools as the Director of Transportation. In 2018, Ms. White became the Deputy Superintendent of Operations for Jefferson County Schools. This year completes her 35th year in education and her seventh year as the Deputy Superintendent of Operations.
