Potomac River Clean Up
Please join us for our fourth annual Potomac River Cleanup and Float planned by our new Environmental Service Committee. Below is a web link to a signup sheet.
The starting point on the morning of Sept. 20 is the meadow at Steamboat Run, in proximity to the Vreugdenhil residence. We then float the Potomac and remove as much debris as we can; there will unfortunately be plenty.
Our end point is the Shepherdstown Boat Ramp, just below the James Rumsey Bridge. The trip will take about 3 hours. Canoes and kayaks are needed, along with pickups to haul them.

At 2 p.m. there will be a barbecue picnic at the Vreugdenhil residence for those who can attend.
