4th of July Parade & Picnic

Join us for Shepherdstown’s 18th Annual 4th of July Parade & Picnic sponsored by the Rotary Club of Shepherdstown.

The parade will be held at 11:00 a.m. downtown. The picnic will be held right afterwards, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m., at the town’s Morgan’s Gove Park.

Everyone is welcome at both events and admission will be free.

The parade and picnic have been organized annually by the Rotary Club of Shepherdstown since 2007, and by now they have become an important, Rotary-branded tradition that’s greatly appreciated by residents and elected officials alike. The goal is to provide a wholesome, family-oriented Fourth of July celebration for the town.

The picnic will include a waterslide and other activities for children and two local bands will provide live music. The Rotary Club will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, ice cream and non-alcoholic beverages. All proceeds from those sales are used to help cover event costs.
