Morning Meeting: Author Angie Miller (Walt Eifert’s niece)

Dr. Angie Miller authors and illustrates children’s books of poetry under the pseudonym “Evelyn A. Huckleberry.”  The ten books written to date focus on the adventures of Picklepenny, a fun, relatable character whose exuberance is contagious for readers of all ages.  Angie holds an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College (1996) and Masters and Doctorate degrees from Penn State (2002, 2012).  Though currently on leave, Angie applies her expertise in adult education as an Intelligence Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency.  Working in this capacity has provided unique opportunities to experience the world and also to value creative endeavors with Picklepenny.  While away from Northern VA, Angie and her husband Joe live in her hometown of Hummelstown, PA.  In their free time, they enjoy hiking, traveling, golfing, and serving with their local church.  On top of all her accomplishments, she happens to be the niece of our very own, Walt Eifert.
