The Youth Services Committee, led by Stacy McFarland, delivered a check for $1000 to TA Lowery Elementary School for their Candy Cane Express program. Founded in 1992, this program purchases gifts and items for students’ parents to “shop” for all of their children for the holidays. This year, TA Lowery will be serving 58 children plus siblings at their school through this program. Volunteers also provide gift-wrapping services. Any left over money from donations goes towards emergency services for these children. Thank you to the Youth Services Committee for their generous donation!
