District Governor Pam Wagoner Speaks to Club

District Governor Pamela Wagoner, a native of Jefferson County, visited our club as part of her annual tour as the 7360 District Governor for 2024-2025 term.  She spoke on the Rotary theme, “The Magic of Rotary.” The 2024–2025 International President theme emphasizes the organization’s ability to create positive change through service, collaboration, and dedication. The theme’s message is that Rotarians can achieve great things to make the world a better place by finding innovative solutions to problems and inspiring others to join the cause.

Wagoner is the proud owner of Depot Florist for 26 years in downtown Martinsburg, WV.  She received the Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year and Small Business of the Year in 2011.  Pam has been recognized in our community with many awards as citizen of the year for both GSA and BSA.  Pam joined Rotary at the Martinsburg Noon club in 2008 and has served as club President twice and Area Governor twice.  She has also received distinctions of Rotarian of the Year twice from her home club.  In 2018, Pam and Shepherdstown Rotarian Michele Maiden teamed up to join forced to use Community District Grant funds to do a huge project on human trafficking.  These efforts between our clubs were given to WV Governors Service Award for humanitarian efforts on human trafficking.  Pan has been very involved on the district level, a Paul Harris Society member, and a Polio Plus Society member.  Pam and her husband Elwood of 44 years have two sons, Ben and Collin.  We are very grateful for DG Pam and look forward to our continued strong relationships.  Thank you District Governor Pam for your service, leadership, and commitment to Rotary!
