The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown WV has presented a Paul Harris Award to member Austin Slater in recognition of his contributions to the Rotary Foundation.
The award was presented at the Club’s regular weekly breakfast meeting on August 19 at Shepherdstown’s Bavarian Inn.
Slater has been a member of the Shepherdstown Club since August 2021. He is a retired rural electric cooperative president and CEO. He has been active in Rotary for many years, previously serving as a member of three different Rotary clubs. And he has been and continues to be active in many other nonprofit community organizations.
This is his eighth Paul Harris recognition.
