Rotary Club Hears Classification Talks

Rotary Classification Talk
Cara Keys, James Broomall, Matt Hoffman, Jim King

This morning we were fortunate to have two classification talks given by newer rotarians, Matt Hoffman and Dr. James Broomall.

Matt Hoffman is the Director of Career Services at Shepherd University as well as the advisor for Lambda Chi Alpha and Shepherd Rotaract Club on campus. Matt is originally from the eastern shore of Maryland and moved here as a Shepherd undergrad. He enjoys spending time outside with his girlfriend Liz and dog Elsa.

Dr. James Broomall is the newly appointed Director of the Robert C. Byrd Center for Congressional History and Education. He is also an associate professor of history and Director of the George Tyler Moore Center for the Study of the Civil War. Dr. Broomall is deeply passionate about civil war history and has been published in many essays, journals, and a book throughout his expansive career. Dr. Broomall enjoys spending time along the C&O as well as Antietam with his family and class.

Both of these Rotarians are very impressive and we are thankful to have them in our club!
