Cara Keys has been sworn in as the Shepherdstown Rotary Club’s new president for the 2024-2025 year. She succeeds Jim King, whose term expired July 1.
The swearing-in took place at the club’s July 2 breakfast meeting at Shepherdstown’s Bavarian Inn. The accompanying photo shows Rotary District 7360 Governor, Pam Waggoner, left, administering the oath of office to Keys, right. Keys is holding one of her four children, Elodie.
Keys, who is a commercial real estate property appraiser, has been a member of the Shepherdstown Rotary Club since 2020. Previously, she was a member of Frederick, MD’s Carroll Creek Rotary Club for five years. She lives in Harpers Ferry with her husband Greg.
Dale Homan, of Shepherdstown, is the Shepherdstown Club’s new vice president.
