Podolskiy is an attorney investigator with the Federal Communications Commission’s Office of Inspector General. Born in Kiev, Ukraine, he immigrated with his family to New York in 1993. He went on to earn an undergraduate degree from City University of New York’s Baruch College and a law degree from the South Texas College of Law.
After he passed the bar in 2009, he was commissioned into the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps and served in that capacity for nearly six years. In 2010 he was deployed to Iraq, where he met his wife-to-be Emily, who was serving as a company commander. They married in 2012, and one month after their wedding, they both were deployed to Afghanistan for one year. They both left the service in 2015. Today, they have four children (1 girl and 3 boys), ages 10, 8, 7, and 4.
