Victoria Ames & Medlife

Victoria Ames, a senior in the Shepherd University Nursing program will share details about the upcoming Medlife trip for students.  Medlife contacts the village and finds out what the needs are.  Then the students go to the village for a week and help.  They have built sturdy steps to help overcome flood waters.  They have built new buildings, installed roofs and more.  Plus they have provided dental and nursing care.   The students that have participated described it as “eye opening” and “meaningful.”
