She holds an MBA in public administration and a B.S. in business administration with a focus in marketing\, both from Shepherd University. She is an associate with Keys Valuation currently working to attain Certified General Appraisal licensing\, a volleyball coach at Jefferson High School\, and a City of Ranson council member. Jaelyn spent a year serving the community as Miss West Virginia 2021\, and has continued to stay involved following her crowning. She spends her free time practicing yoga\, reading\, and hiking with her dog\, Henry.

The evening will begin at 5:00 p.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres at The Press Room (cash bar)\, followed by a screening of the Golden Globe–winning film O Brother\, Where Art Thou?\, directed by the Coen Brothers\, at the neighboring Opera House. \nThe film screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. \nAdmission to The Press Room is $15 per person\, with a capacity of 35 guests. Movie tickets are $10\, with seating for 100. Once The Press Room reaches capacity\, that option will be removed from registration\, but we will continue to accept sign-ups for the movie. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! \nMovie Night

DESCRIPTION:Several students from Jefferson High School will compete for the opportunity to advance to the District and Regional levels\, with the chance to earn scholarship awards. The Rotary Club will provide an engaged and supportive audience\, while judges offer thoughtful\, constructive written feedback to each participant. It’s always enlightening to hear the issues that matter most to today’s students. Topics from last year included underpaid teachers\, concerns about fast fashion\, and the overuse of cell phones.
