DESCRIPTION:Jennifer Smith (Jen) is a certified Rapid Transformational Therapist (RTT Hypnotherapist)\, a 500+ Sivananda Yoga Acharya and Meditation Instructor\, a Yin/restorative certified\, and a trauma-informed Yoga educator. After raising two children while traveling the world and living several years abroad\, Jen settled in the D.C. area in 2007 and felt the calling to become a healer. \nHer multidimensional career spans almost two decades of guiding others through physical and spiritual healing\, self-discovery\, and emotional empowerment. Through her own self healing journey\, Jen has experienced how letting go of limiting beliefs and old ways of thinking that no longer serve us opens up infinite possibilities to create a better reality and experience true joy\, fabulous health\, freedom and deep lasting peace in our lives.

SUMMARY:2025 Christmas Parade
DESCRIPTION:We are encouraging all club members to participate with the Shepherdstown Rotary marching contingent in this Saturday morning’s Shepherdstown Christmas Parade. Fellow Rotarians Kirt Martin and Laura Wolf go through great lengths to organize this annual Holiday spectacular\, and it is important that Rotary’s branding is sufficiently represented by our club membership. \nTowards that end\, I please ask that you come dressed in black slacks and red tops and meet at the corner of German Street and Church Street just before the 10:00am parade start (line-up at 09:45). We will be able to watch the parade from our vantage point and then bring up the rear while proudly displaying our Rotary Club of Shepherdstown banner.

SUMMARY:Victoria Ames & Medlife
DESCRIPTION:Victoria Ames\, a senior in the Shepherd University Nursing program will share details about the upcoming Medlife trip for students.  Medlife contacts the village and finds out what the needs are.  Then the students go to the village for a week and help.  They have built sturdy steps to help overcome flood waters.  They have built new buildings\, installed roofs and more.  Plus they have provided dental and nursing care.   The students that have participated described it as “eye opening” and “meaningful.”

She holds an MBA in public administration and a B.S. in business administration with a focus in marketing\, both from Shepherd University. She is an associate with Keys Valuation currently working to attain Certified General Appraisal licensing\, a volleyball coach at Jefferson High School\, and a City of Ranson council member. Jaelyn spent a year serving the community as Miss West Virginia 2021\, and has continued to stay involved following her crowning. She spends her free time practicing yoga\, reading\, and hiking with her dog\, Henry.
